Alice Marie Jones

Alice Marie Jones (90) of Grapeland, was a strong woman who was passionate about her family and dedicated to the children she raised and cared for through her daycare.  Alice was a devoted wife of 65 years to the late Horral I. Jones, Sr. She never took life for granted and cherished everyone and everything she loved. She was and will remain the greatest mother and meemaw there ever was.

Alice leaves behind sons Horral I. Jones, Jr., Horace Jones, Mark Davison, Travis Jones, Trevor Jones; daughters Barbie Jones, Christina Jones; brother Carl Theil; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Lisa Singletary for the wonderful care and friendship she gave Alice the last 5 years of her life. Alice loved Lisa dearly.

Services for Alice were held Tuesday, June 12; 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Grapeland, TX. Arrangements entrusted to Walker & Walker Funeral Home.
