Jackson Carroll “Pat” Patrick

Jackson Carroll “Pat” Patrick, age 76, of Latexo lost his battle with cancer on November 27th, 2017.

Pat was born March 25th, 1941 in Crockett to parents, Clifton Landfair Patrick and Irene Swearingin Patrick. Pat married Mary Ann Hamb on November 10th, 1963 and had two children, Debra Doretta Patrick Scruggs and Johnny Carroll Patrick. Pat worked for the local tractor companies as a field mechanic for many years.

After he retired, he continued to work on the local farmers tractors from his home in Latexo.  He was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Landfair Patrick; sister, Frances Patrick; nephew, David Patrick and wife, Mary Ann Patrick. Survivors include his mother, Irene Swearingin Patrick of Crockett; brother, James “Red” Patrick and wife, Carol Patrick of Crockett: son, Johnny Carroll Patrick and wife, Mandy Taylor Patrick of Austonio; daughter, Debra Patrick Scruggs and husband, Roy Scruggs of Malakoff; grandchildren, Morgan Skye Scruggs (21) and Jackson James “JJ” Patrick (9) and niece, Julie  Patrick of Waco.

Funeral services for Jackson Carroll “Pat” Patrick was held Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ottis Byers officiating. Interment followed in the Porter Springs Cemetery.

The family received friends Wednesday evening, November 29, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
