Earl Mittelstedt

Earl Mittelstedt, age 83, of Lovelady passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 in Tyler. He was born November 26, 1933 in Spring to parents, Ben Mittelsteadt and Esther Schultz Mittelsteadt. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Klein and had been a farmer all of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley Mittelstedt of Lovelady; children, Ronnie Mittelstedt and wife, Cindy of Weatherford, Joyce Munzy and husband, Allen of Humble, Debbie Mosscrop and husband, Lew of Conroe, Donnie Mittelstedt and wife, Debbie of Humble, and Glenn Mittelstedt and wife, Karen of Klein; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard Mittelsteadt of Lovelady, Anton Mittelsteadt and wife, Rhonda of Klein; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Esther Mittelsteadt; infant daughter, Lois Ann Mittelstedt; and four sisters, Irene Batts, Verna Fuchs, Ella Mae Link, and Bernel Halley.

Funeral services for Earl Mittelstedt will be held Friday, March 31, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Dr. Cecil Rice and Rev. Jim Brazzil officiating.
