Tuesday Stitchers Donates Quilt For Fundraiser

This beautiful quilt will be auctioned off during the annual fundraiser at the Grapeland Senior Citizen Center on Friday, Feb. 10.

The Tuesday Stitchers are donating a beautiful quilt to be auctioned on Friday, Feb. 10 during the Grapeland Senior Citizen Center’s Fundraising dinner. The event begins at 6 p.m. and the public is invited to attend. In addition to the auctioning of the quilt, there will also be a cake auction and a chili supper fundraiser. The Tuesday Stitchers are a group of ladies who meet at the Grapeland Senior Citizen building on every Tuesday to stitch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The ladies piece and quilt by hand or by sewing machine. They also crocket, knit, sew and do other hand stitching. They offer work shops and invite all ladies from Grapeland and the surrounding communities to come join and have fun stitching with them.
