Safe Sitter Course Offered At EISD

Elkhart Middle School is offering a Safe Sitter Class to boys and girls ages 11 and up. Safe Sitter is a child and infant sitting curriculum that teaches choking rescue, basic first aid, babysitting as a business, babysitter safety, basic child development, infant diapering and feeding, and much more. The class will be held in the Elkhart Middle School library on Saturday, March 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost of the class is $30 and participants will receive a babysitting safety handbook and a certification card.
