Music At The Little White Church To Benefit Local Building

The musical group Hwy. 19, consists of Andi Jo Huff, fiddle and vocals, Dr. Stuart Anderson, banjo, Tammy Hassell-Anderson lead vocal and guitar and Jeff Harrison, vocals and upright bass. Tin Top Road Bluegrass Band will perform as well, with lead vocals by Dennis Conn of Elkhart will be performing at the First Christian Church Memorial Building’s semi annual musical winter event.

The First Christian Church Memorial Building will once again come alive with its semi annual musical winter event, scheduled for Jan. 21. Make plans to attend this community performance, featuring the musical group Hwy. 19, which consists of Andi Jo Huff, fiddle and vocals, Dr. Stuart Anderson, banjo, Tammy Hassell-Anderson lead vocal and guitar and Jeff Harrison, vocals and upright bass. Tin Top Road Bluegrass Band will perform as well, with lead vocals by Dennis Conn of Elkhart. Also included in the entertainment line up will be pianist Daron Stone, a student at Rice University in Houston.

Admission if free, however the Saturday evening show will provide attendees the opportunity to donate to the First Christian Memorial Building Fund. Recently, board members completed the purchase of the lot adjacent to the historical property. This acquisition has and will continue to compliment the attractiveness of the little white church. Funding for all improvements, including this most recent large purchase comes from donations. This is a wonderful opportunity to help in this endeavor.

Doors will open at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 7 p.m. Master of ceremonies will be FCCM Board President Paul Knight. Following the program, refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall, with the main building remaining available for visiting. Parking attendants will make available an area directly in front of the the church for those in need to have access to the porch ramp.
