MARY JANE DOMINY

Mrs. Mary Jane Dominy, age 83, of Pennington, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012 in the Methodist Hospital in Houston. She was born Sept. 8, 1928 in Bald Prairie, Robertson County, Texas and had lived in Pennington since she was the age of six She was a member of the Methodist Church in Groveton. Mrs. Dominy had worked and retired from the Department of Agriculture.

Survivors include husband, M. Q. Dominy of Pennington; son, Wayne Dominy of Pennington; daughter, Susan Bayne and husband, Bill of Spring; grandchildren, Leslie Gonzalez and husband, Dooley of Hillsboro, Lori Gallagher and husband, Tony of Belton, William Bayne of Spring, Brian Bayne of Spring, Emily Harrington and husband, Edward of Natchitoches, Louisiana; great-grandchildren, Elisabeth, Nicolas, Katelynn Gonzalez, Madison Gonzalez and Jake Gallagher; brothers, Richard Arnold of Wharton, Thomas Hale Arnold of Hurst; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceded in death by parents, Walter and Alice Arnold and brothers, Odell Arnold, Homer Arnold, Bill Arnold, Edwin Arnold, Noble Arnold and Henry Stone Arnold.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jane Dominy were held Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Interment followed in the Pennington Cemetery.
