LOVETTA FAYE MAYHUGH

Mrs. Lovetta Faye Mayhugh, age 69, of Crockett, passed away Friday, Feb 17, 2012 in the East Texas Medical Center-Crockett. Mrs. Mayhugh was born June 28, 1942 in Merkel, Texas and had lived in Houston County for many years. She was a member of the Westside Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Cindy and Lanny Jeffcoat of Crosby; Carlotta Faye and Victor Gonzales of Pflugerville, Pam and Mike McKay of Crockett, Terry and Mary Mayhugh of Crockett and Melanie Mayhugh and Kevin Smith of Crockett; grandchildren, Jeremy, April, Marcy, Lacy, Jenna, Lindsey, Michael, Victoria, Steven, Kase, Cade, Cory, Allison, Cassie, Ethan, Chris and Karen; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Colby, Colin, Peyton, Miles, Jay and Eli; brother, William Smith and sisters, Jean Griffith, Loree Hill and Jennie Hollowell.

She was preceded in death by husband, O. F. “Butch” Mayhugh and brothers and sisters, Alvin Smith, Wallace Smith, Robert Smith, Mary Laughlin, Ora Vee Smith and Carl Smith.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lovetta Faye Mayhugh were held Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the Westside Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Meadows and Mr. Victor Gonzales officiating. Interment followed in the Post Oak Cemetery in Oglesby, Texas.
