The Grapeland FFA would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Tom and Vickie Gates for their continued support of the Grapeland Schools and community. Mr. and Mrs. Gates donated a steer to the FFA Chapter. The FFA members sold raffle tickets on the steer to earn money for their trip to the National FFA Convention in Indiana. The drawing was held and Mrs. Lori Curry and Mrs. Angela Cross each won half of the steer. The steer was taken to Tyer Processing in Crockett. Pictured above is FFA member Jacob Pyle, Mr. Tom Gates and FFA member Shelby Bruner. Also the FFA held a drawing for a cedar picnic table that the students built and Mrs. Mary Watson was the winner for the table. Grapeland FFA wishes to thank everyone who purchased tickets in each of these drawings.
