Leamons Celebrates 80th Birthday

Love, if one is Christian, is demanded by God. He set forth the example by sacrificing His only Son, who was sinless to cover our sins if we choose to accept that.

His Son could have refused to do that, but out of Love sacrificed his own life to unable us to obtain salvation for eternity. So one can say that “Love is an act of sacrifice for the benefit of the recipient.” Scripture also teaches to “love thy neighbor as thy self.”

Because Bernice Leamons has, and continues to exemplify that kind of love to many, friends and neighbors are invited to honor her with your presence on the occasion of her 80th birthday celebration.

The event will be held in the fellowship hall of Grapeland Missionary Baptist Church on Church Street, Sunday, Feb. 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. The presence of her friends and loved ones will be gifts to her.
