Memorial services for John (Johnny) Robert Goff age 50 of Jackson, MS. and formerly of Grapeland were held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at New Hope Baptist Church in Grapeland. Burial was in Denson Cemetery. Bailey & Foster were in charge of the arrangements.
John passed from this life on Wednesday Jan. 25, 2012 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He lived his life with courage that most normal people will never know. Johnny suffered a spinal injury in 1981, which left him a quadriplegic. He was born June 30, 1961 in Mississippi to John A. and Edna Westbrook Goff. He was a graduate of Ole Miss in Oxford, MS.
Johnny is survived by his sisters, Teresa Goff Borman of Trinity, and Stacy Goff Whitehead of Hernando, MS., a brother, Clayton Goff of Dallas, TX., two nieces Kassidy Marie Jones and Reeves Shelton Whitehead, a nephew Cpl. Benjamin Jones, USMC, also countless aunts, uncles, friends and loved ones.
