Grapeland Senior Citizens Center Says Thank You

Thank you to volunteers Raymond Christopher and Ed Cook for the great job and hard work they did in refinishing the floors of the Center building which included repairing the tile floors in the kitchen, “deep cleaning,” removing the old wax, replacing the wax and buffing. The floors are so clean you can almost see yourself in them.

Thank you to the Tuesday Stitchers Club, Betty and Troy Brewer, for the gift of replacing the carpet on the Center’s stage. It really makes the place look better.

Thank you to the Tai Chi Club for the mirrors on the north wall and in the ladies restroom. The effort was headed by Linda Giorgio and Tim Saucier of Saucier Mirror and Glass.

Thank you to the Lions Club, headed by Ben Childress, for the painting around the Center and for the marking of the parking lot. We appreciate all you have done to make the Center look better.
