EVA JEAN ‘MISS JEAN’ LANGFORD
Mrs. Eva Jean “Miss Jean” Langford, age 63, of Crockett, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012 at her residence. She was born Jan. 31, 1949 in Houston County, Texas and had lived all of her lifetime in Crockett. Mrs. Langford had worked as a child care provider. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Crockett and she attended North Loop Baptist Church.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Larry and April Langford of Crockett; mother, Pearl Tims of Belott; sisters, Sue Wink and husband, Jr. of Kennard, Judy Hopson and husband, Danny of Crockett, Deborah Pyle and husband, Tony of Crockett; brothers, Bobby Tims and wife, Helen of Belott, David Tims and wife, Dorothy of Tonopah, Arizona, Authur Tims of Belott; special friends, Donna Smith of Crockett, Kristina Waldrep of Crockett; special “granddaughter”, Shelby Waldrep of Crockett; special “son”, Kevin Hopson of Crockett; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceded in death by husband, T. J. “Bo” Langford in 1998; father, Olen Tims in 1991; nephews, Robert Tims in 1994 and Chris Tims in 2000 and niece, Melissa Tims Williford in 2002.
Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Jean “Miss Jean” Langford were held Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dennis Lowery and Rev. Keeney Dickenson officiating. Interment followed in the New Energy Cemetery.
